How to prepare for a Journey session

A Journey session is a profound process that continues even after you leave. A few simple steps before and after the session will help you get the most out of it.

Process

What to expect during the session

A session lasts approximately two to three hours. We’ll discuss the issue you’ve come to address, and using Journey tools, we’ll explore layers of emotions, uncover limiting inner beliefs, clear emotionally charged memories from the past, replenish your inner resources, and discover healthy attitudes and ways of functioning.

Before the session

How to prepare

  • Just have a light meal.
  • Avoid strong stimulants such as nicotine, caffeine, and alcohol. They can reduce your ability to access the intense emotions that are a key part of the entire process.
  • You may find that you're more sensitive or irritable even before the session. There's no need to worry—it's natural—just be aware of it.
  • You'll be most helpful to the process if you come with an open mind and a determination to tackle whatever comes your way.

After the session

Take some time for yourself

In-depth emotional work increases the body’s activity even at the cellular level, regardless of whether the process focused on physical difficulties or an emotional issue. That’s why I recommend setting aside a moment just for yourself right after a session to take care of your body, for example:

  • a relaxing bath
  • walk
  • hearty soup
  • an early night's sleep and rest

Change of date

If you can't come

If you need to cancel the session, please let me know as soon as possible. Rescheduling is only possible under the conditions specified in the General Terms and Conditions (Section 5.3).

Recommendation

Reading material for before the first session

If this is your first Journey and you don't know anything about it yet, I recommend reading the book The Journey by Brandon Bays. However, it's not necessary.

Sessions take place in person in Prague or online. If you're coming in person, see how to find me. If you don't have an appointment yet, you can book one here.
