Why?

Because I believe that every person has a place within themselves where they feel at home—a place of peace, clarity, and strength. My role is to create a safe space where you can return to that place.

How did all this happen?

When performance is no longer enough

For many years, I worked in an environment where high demands, pressure to perform, precision, and flawless results were a daily reality. Speed, constant readiness, and the ability to handle challenging situations without hesitation were expected. I was used to giving it my all, juggling work, family, and all the expectations I placed on myself.

Gradually, however, I began to feel that even though I had everything I’d once dreamed of, it didn’t fulfill me. I wasn’t happy.

On the surface, everything was fine. I was capable, reliable, and successful. But when it became impossible to handle everything, I gradually erased myself from my own life.

I stopped listening to my body, even though it had been sending me signals for quite some time that something wasn’t right. I pushed my emotions aside and continued to function primarily with my head. I fulfilled my duties, took care of others, and kept going. Gradually, however, I lost my energy, my joy, and my connection to what I actually needed.

There came a moment when I realized that I wanted to live—but differently. More authentically. More in touch with myself and less under the pressure of expectations, performance, and perfection.

I needed to break the cycle I had found myself in. To pause. To breathe. And to start being aware of myself again. That was my turning point.

A question I didn't know the answer to

During one therapy session, I was asked a seemingly simple question:

“What about you? What do you like? What makes you happy?”

I didn’t know how to answer.

Not in a few minutes, not in a day, not even in a week. It took more than a month before the first tentative answer emerged:

“Maybe painting…”

Later, I also discovered the simple pleasure of reading fiction—without feeling guilty that I wasn’t doing something useful, professional, or necessary for someone else.

That’s when I began to understand how far I had drifted from myself.

The comeback didn't start with a big decision

My journey back wasn’t sudden or straightforward. There wasn’t a single moment after which everything was resolved. It began with small steps, during which I relearned how to be aware of my body, emotions, needs, and boundaries.

Gradually, I discovered various approaches. Some helped me understand what I was going through. Others brought me back to my body, my breath, and the present moment.

For example, I never would have thought that one day I’d start cold-water swimming. I’d always avoided cold water. But when I needed to stop a spiraling train of thought, I tried something I never would have expected of myself. At that moment, it helped me refocus my attention on my body and my breath.

Not that cold-water immersion is the solution for everyone. Quite the opposite. It showed me that everyone may need a different path, a different pace, and a different form of support.

From personal experience to guiding others

My work today did not begin as a finished plan or an idea for a new method. It grew out of a personal need to understand what was happening to me and, little by little, to find my way back to myself.

My own experience led me to intensive self-development and further education. I began to focus on The Journey process, mindfulness, and working with the body and touch. Gradually, I realized that what I had been searching for myself, I can now offer to others: not ready-made answers, but time, attention, and a safe space for their own process.

I particularly empathize with people who are used to handling a lot, shouldering responsibility, and pushing forward even when they feel exhausted inside. I lived in that world myself for many years. I know that losing touch with oneself may not be visible to others at all.

I'm here to guide you through this process

I believe that every person has their own experiences, values, and ability to recognize what is important to them. However, under the pressure of responsibilities, expectations, and the opinions of those around us, we may gradually stop hearing our own voice.

That’s why I’m not here to tell you who you should be or how you should live. I can’t know your answers any better than you do.

What I can do, however, is create a peaceful and clearly guided space where you can pause for a moment, turn your attention to what you’re currently experiencing, and begin to reconnect with what matters to you.

I’ll guide you through the process, but I won’t determine the direction for you.

Every journey is unique

There is no single right path that works for everyone. Some people need to talk. Others need silence, movement, touch, or a moment when they don’t have to deal with anything.

Even returning to oneself doesn’t necessarily mean becoming a new person. Sometimes it means that, beneath the layers of responsibilities, pressure, and expectations, you begin to rediscover what has long been within you.

I cannot walk your path for you. However, I can create a space for you where you can begin to perceive it anew.

My professional background

Before I began working as a coach, I spent about twenty years working in the demanding professional environment of international firms such as Deloitte and PwC, as well as local consulting firms, and I founded my own consulting firm. I know the world of performance, decision-making, responsibility, and high expectations from my own experience.

I graduated from the Faculty of Management at Comenius University and earned the academic degrees of Mgr. and PhDr. I hold the FCCA professional designation and completed a graduate program in diplomacy at CEVRO University in Prague, earning an MPA degree.

In the area of personal development and coaching, I completed training as a guide for The Journey process and other programs offered by The Journey. I have completed a course in the AromaTouch technique, practice mindfulness, and am continuing my studies in shiatsu. I view education as an integral part of my work—just as much as recognizing my own limits and respecting when a person needs a different form of professional help.

A path of continuous learning

My work is based not only on personal experience, but also on long-term education, training, and continuous professional development. In my continuing education, I also focus on working with the body, touch, and mindfulness. These experiences help me perceive a person not only through their words, but also through their pace, boundaries, and what they need to feel safe.
