Presence

Aneta Kadukova > Presence

We come into the world as unique, one-of-a-kind beings. In the mosaic of life, we sometimes lose our way and lose sight of who we truly are. “Presence” creates a space to rediscover ourselves and uncover the image within that has been there all along.

I guide people on a gentle and safe journey back to themselves. In my work, I integrate emotions, the body, and the nervous system. I believe that true change doesn’t happen only in the mind—it happens within the whole person.

Presence is based on perceiving the person as a whole. It connects inner experience, the body, and the nervous system—dimensions that influence one another and together create space for change.

The path to ourselves through emotions, the body and the present moment

One path, different ways of support

The Journey process is at the heart of my work and the primary way in which I guide people. However, not everyone finds their way to pausing and becoming aware of themselves in the same way.

For some, conversation and inner reflection are a natural starting point. For others, it helps to first slow down, release physical tension, and turn their attention to their body.

That is why, in my continuing education, I also focus on shiatsu and the AromaTouch technique. These are distinct approaches based on working with the body, touch, and mindfulness. I do not view them as a substitute for The Journey process, but rather as a possible complement to the broader Presence approach.

Every person has their own needs, boundaries, and pace. That’s why I don’t operate under the assumption that there is one “right” method for everyone.

Presence connects three interconnected levels—emotions, the body, and the nervous system. The common denominator is presence.

The Journey

The inner world and emotions

The Journey is at the heart of Presence. It is a profound process of working with emotions, inner blocks, fears, and patterns that can influence our experience and daily life.

It creates a space to pause, turn our attention inward, and gradually return to a deeper connection with ourselves.

The Journey invites us to meet ourselves with greater attention, gentleness, and acceptance. Gradually, this can create more inner space, peace, and conscious connection with ourselves. It is not a path to a “better” version of yourself. It is a path closer to yourself.

Shiatsu

The body as a gateway to relaxation

Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork technique that uses conscious touch, pressure, and work with the meridians. It promotes physical relaxation, harmony, and body awareness.

I see Shiatsu as a natural complement to inner work, adding a physical and energetic dimension.

AromaTouch

A gentle path to calm

AromaTouch is a relaxation technique that combines gentle touch with the application of essential oils. It creates a space to slow down, relax, and bring your attention back to your own body.

AromaTouch is a gentle complement to practices focused on mindfulness, relaxation, and bodily awareness. It gently stimulates the nervous system.

* I am currently studying Shiatsu, and I am completing the necessary training in AromaTouch. Until I complete my training, I recommend seeking independent treatments and services from accredited professionals.

Every journey can start somewhere else

Sometimes we need to understand what’s going on inside us. Other times, we first need to slow down, relax our bodies, or create space for calm.

Presence does not view these levels as separate. Emotions, the body, and the nervous system influence one another, and it is precisely their interconnectedness that allows us to view a person in a broader context.

AromaTouch

Calmness and Mindfulness

The power of the present moment

The common thread running through this entire approach is presence.

Conscious awareness of our breath, body, emotions, and senses allows us to step out of our automatic mode of functioning for a moment and notice what is truly happening within us.

That is why, in Presence, I do not view mindfulness as a separate technique, but as a quality of attention that naturally accompanies the entire process.

TESTIMONIALS

I embarked on this journey because I struggled with everyday communication and talking to people, which is why I never had many friends. I was also unable, for example, to give presentations or speak in front of a large group, which limited me especially at school.

To be honest, I didn't expect much from The Journey at first, but I decided to give it a try.

I can't say that I've suddenly become a particularly outgoing or talkative person, but I've noticed a huge change. I feel much more confident in this area; I’ve finally made friends at school, and I don’t start panicking every time a stranger speaks to me. I’m so relieved that this fear of mine no longer limits me so much in life.

At first, I didn’t know what I wanted to focus on physically. I entered the process feeling stressed, with pressure in my chest, pain in my side, and a general ache as if I were carrying a heavy boulder. Gradually, themes of fear—that I wasn’t good enough and a fear of pain—began to surface within me. During the process, I felt something inside me relax, and a greater sense of peace set in.
After about a month, I noticed a significant change. I began to live at a slower pace, more calmly, and with greater perspective. I also felt that my body was stronger and healthier. The pain in my side, which I had associated with my kidney and high blood pressure, was no longer present.
Another very powerful moment for me was a memory of my brother, which brought me to tears, gave me relief, and offered a new perspective on the past.
Above all, the entire process brought me a great sense of relief, peace, and inner relaxation. I definitely recommend it.

Before The Journey, I didn't really have anything major I needed to figure out. I just wanted to give it a try, and I was curious to see what it would actually bring me. I didn’t go into it with any major theme or expectations; I just let things take their course and was open to whatever came my way.

More than anything, The Journey gave me the chance to stop and reflect. In everyday life, you’re always rushing around, dealing with work, results, and everything else, but you don’t really take the time to think about yourself. Here, I had the space to reflect on what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and what’s more important in life. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to take a moment to look back on what they’ve been through and, at the same time, get a clearer sense of where to go from here.

The Journey method is a profound inner process that helps a person go beneath the surface of emotions, tension, and old patterns. It leads to a quiet space within, where what no longer serves us can be released—and where we can reconnect with our own truth, peace, and strength. It is an experiential method, not an analytical conversation. It works with the body, emotions, memories, and the present moment.

The Journey focuses on emotions, and I’ve found that connection in Shiatsu as well. Shiatsu teaches that internal illnesses stem from unprocessed emotions such as fear, anger, and sadness, as well as from overthinking, anxiety, shock, excessive stress, and overwork.

The common thread among these techniques is the present moment. Each one works with it in a different way. AromaTouch remains in the present moment at all times. The Journey also works with the past and the future, but it is based on the present, current experience of emotions and physical sensations. AromaTouch can gently support the awareness of the present moment.

These seemingly unrelated methods all involve working in the present moment with emotions, the body, and the spirit.
